I’m always looking for ways to improve my blog and I recently added the Disqus commenting system plugin. It took a long time to sync my old comments (over 2,000!) into the new Disqus format but I’m hoping this will increase interactions and conversations. I don’t think the original WordPress system alerted readers to my replies (and if there was a way, I never figured it out) but Disqus does. I also removed unused plugins, which should help speed up loading time.
